How Going Once Auction works
It’s completely FREE to sell with GoingOnce. No charges, no catches. As is normal and standard with auction situations the buyer pays a non-refundable reservation fee. This covers our costs AND gives you the peace of mind of a committed purchaser.

You are in control every step of the way. You might perceive auction as right for bargain hunters but often the opposite is true. Whilst there are some properties or circumstances that would be UNsuitable, we’ll quickly advise you, so that no time is wasted. For the vast majority that ARE suitable, YOU set a reserve figure (the price you want to achieve), we agree a guide price for marketing purposes and on the day of auction you watch as the bids roll in. Crystal clear to you, the bidders and the successful buyer.
HOW DO WE DO IT ?
Once you have given us the go-ahead, we prepare details in the usual way and over the period of 21 days from launch we will hold one early open day and one just before the auction. This maximises the opportunity for as many people as possible to view and be geared up to bid. We clarify with all of these prospective bidders the process so that they are fully vetted, proceedable buyers.
Once a successful bid is made the buyer pays the reservation fee and the memorandum of sale links both parties solicitors clearly stating the process timescale to ensure a smooth and efficient process within the 56 days.
On exchange we will arrange the final handover, with keys etc. and on completion your solicitor will transfer the sale proceeds to you, paying off any mortgage outstanding
